1. Surgery Removes Vein, But Does Not Purify Blood
Varicose veins is a disease of impure, thick, inflammatory blood (Rakta Dushti in Ayurveda). Surgery or Laser just burns or removes one damaged vein. It does not clean the blood or strengthen other veins. So in 30-40% cases, varicose comes again in other veins within 3 years. Dr. Ural's Ayurveda aims to purify blood and strengthen vein walls, so recurrence is less.
2. Surgery Cannot Heal Black Skin and Non-Healing Ulcer
In 3rd and 4th stage, leg becomes black, hard like wood and ulcer forms. Surgery cannot soften this hard skin or heal this ulcer. In fact, most surgeons refuse surgery when ulcer is present. Dr. Ural's treatment is specially made for this - to soften hard skin, bring back circulation and close ulcer without cut.
3. High Risk for Elderly, Diabetic and Heart Patients
Surgery needs anesthesia, hospital admission, bed rest, and has risks of DVT, nerve damage, infection and burn. For a 65+ diabetic patient with ulcer, these risks are high. Dr. Ural's treatment has No Cut, No Laser, No Anesthesia, No Admission. Patient walks in, takes treatment as OP, and goes home.
4. Ayurveda Says - Save the Sira, Don't Cut It
In Ayurveda, veins (Sira) are important channels. Our principle is to heal the channel, not remove it. With internal kashayas for Rakta Shuddhi and external oils for Sira Balya, the vein health improves, heaviness and pain reduce, and leg becomes lighter.
Does that mean Dr. Ural never refers for surgery?
No. He is honest. If Doppler shows very large saphenous vein with major valve failure in a young patient in 2nd stage, and Ayurveda alone may be slow, he will explain both options and tell truth. But for 3rd and 4th stage ulcer patients where surgery is not possible or has failed, his Ayurveda protocol becomes the first and safest choice.
